Soon, the space men who lied to the fish men get found out, and all three groups attack them. But all things come to an end, when in a prolonged firefight against the Akulan Knights over the fate of the North Plutonian Doggino's, the store's manager revealed a hidden .38 revolver and shot the mafioso in the spine seven times. 			Very TODO because of finals etc. The short of it is that even Akulan Crime is protective in nature. Mafia families do that whole "protection racket" thing, and stick together as a family. Of all the sorts of organized crimes, mafia families are like the most beloved IRL, see the Godfather etc., so between the Bureau and the criminals, Akulan Crime aligns with the Bureau's goals of presenting as Protective instead of Deadly Shark.

			Other crimes do happen, of course, but the Akulan Guard crack down '''hard''' on violent or off-putting crime, while the mafia folk have under-the-table protections and encouragement and are always making "dastardly escapes". Like, the north wall of Gartunamoray Bay Super Space Prison is made of cinder blocks and has a lever in the base like it's some sort of Lego Playset Action Feature so the thing falls down with like one C4, conveniently on the days where Don Scarpface is taking his daily, isolated stroll through the Yard. That is, for the ones who ''want'' to escape. You'll find mafiafolk in prison both as a stable retirement and as recruiters or active workers. Hell, Gartunamoray Bay is a de facto Crime School, where aspiring guppies can learn the economic theories behind shakedowns and the etiquette around protection rackets.
